A guide for placing your order

See our step by step guide below to how to place your order. Our dedicated staff will be there to help guide you every step of the way, from making your selection, to delivery to aftercare - The HLF sales team are on hand after your delivery for the full warranty period to help you. We offer a personalised service to all of our customers to provide you with a bespoke service, every step of the way.

MAKE YOUR SELECTION

Dependent on if you are coming to our design studio or if we have visited you in person – we need as much information from you as possible. If you have any floor plans or images of the styles you would like to create in your property, please send these over to the sales agent assigned to your order.

QUOTE

We will issue you our bespoke quote personalised for you and your property. Please carefully check this over including any dimensions. Please fully review your quote and design scheme, it’s important that at this stage you have checked all details and the measurements on your quote and raised any queries with a member of the sales team.

CONFIRM ORDER

Please email us to confirm your order. Please see below our bank details to pay your 50% deposit. Please note your order does not go into production until you have paid this. If you are working to a deadline, please give us this date as soon as you can. We will also need to know of any site restrictions or delivery instructions. Dependent on credit checks, you may be asked to pay for 100% of your order up front. This will be emailed to you in advance of you placing your order.

DELIVERY OPTION

We can offer dropship delivery meaning we give you a date which your furniture will be delivered. This comes by a third-party pallet company. They will deliver this to your door, and it is your responsibility to get this into the property. The HLF Group will book in and deliver all your furniture, liaising with the key holder once access to your property is confirmed. Alternatively, we have an in-house team who will deliver and assemble your products. These come on a designated delivery run whereby we can give you warning and get the date booked in with you. Once you have confirmed your delivery, a member of the customer service team will be in touch regarding any updates to your order and an expected delivery date as your order progresses.

INSTALLATION

Alternatively, we have an in-house team who will deliver and assemble your products. These come on a designated delivery run whereby we can give you warning and get the date booked in with you. They will deliver all the furniture, assemble it, and remove all rubbish. When selecting your delivery option you must take into consideration, access to site and delivery pathways. For example, selecting a pallet delivery but having gravel paths, would mean that the delivery driver won’t be able to get close to the property.

DELIVERY DAY - 48 HOURS

It is particularly important to note that you have 48 hours in which to inform us of any issues with your order. It does not happen often, but sometimes items can be damaged in transit or an item is missed off an order. Please let us know within this time frame with a description and images and we will make sure that this is put right.

REMAINING PAYMENT

If you have paid 50% deposit, then we require the remaining 50% 5 working days after delivery. If there are any issues with your order, those items will simply be put on a credit note until they are resolved, and the remainder invoice issued. Please note, if there are delays with this payment – any current orders in the system will be paused and it may be taken into consideration for future orders whereby we may ask for the full amount upfront.

TESTIMONY & IMAGES

An important part of our business is showcasing all the wonderful places we supply furniture to. We have a section on our website showing recent completed projects with a link to your website. We also regularly showcase projects in our weekly newsletters which go out to 10,000 subscribers. It would mean the world to us if you would give us a testimony and send us your images-our reputation is built on word of mouth and these really matter to us.

AFTERCARE

The HLF sales team are on hand after your delivery for the full warranty period to help with any aftercare issues you may experience.
